Hello,
I was just wondering if you guys provide daily snapshots of the latest compiled code for windows and linux? I've spent more time than I want to admit on getting everything to compile and cross-compile for windows and still not everything's working right (I'm using Ubuntu 8.04). Where I work there's tight security. As such, I can't even access the normal git repository - I have to use the cloned one available via http and then I have to manually download all the contribs that use the svn:// protocol (because the port it uses is locked down too). It's a very time consuming process. However, I recognize I'm among the few with that kind of restriction.
But I'm not among the few that has a hard time getting everything configured just right. And I've done it multiple times with varying degrees of success. Most of the tutorials I've followed are outdated or don't seem to ever work for me.
I'd love to see a page where I can download a daily compile of every plugin and binding that VLC offers for both linux and windows. I figure you guys already have a better environment setup than I do. I think others would benefit from it too.
Just my $0.02.
Thanks for all the hard work you guys are doing!
