Zoom OS X

Postby pytey » 13 Oct 2004 19:51

Hi there,

I am guessing the zoom function will help me out with getting rid of the black border that I am seeing on my plasma when outputting movies to that video device?

Is zoom available in the OS X version of VLC Media Player?

Thanks in advance!

I don't know about VLC being able to zoom by itself, but you could try OS X's own zooming feature, which is done in OpenGL and so is nice and slick.

When you have it turned on (somewhere in System Preferences, Accessability if I recall) then you can use command-option "+" to zoom in and command-option "-" on whatever you like. It's pretty neat, and actually a useful feature of the OS for all users, unlike some other systems I could mention...
