Will this be fixed before 0.9.0 is released? The current test builds are of really poor quality at the moment.
Unless these bugs are fixed, especially the one regarding VLC's inability to load fonts from an A-S-S script in an MKV file, anime fans will continue to ridicule the subtitle support (or lackthereof) offered by VLC.
Not to rude, but you guys really should scrap asa as your next-gen subtitle renderer. It's no longer being developed and is very immature. Why not use the standalone libass library instead? It's constantly improved and updated.
