Full screen but without changing resolution

Postby Scarecrow237 » 02 Jul 2008 18:50

I have a wide-screen monitor with the default resolution of 1440x900. I would like to watch some of the video files that I have full screen, but without changing the files default size, which is 640x480. Choosing full screen scales up the video, so the quality is lost. Watching the video with a 640x480 resolution means I see my desktop all around the VLC player. I would like to have a small 640x480 image in the center of a black field. I have not found a way to do this. Can anyone help?

Don't think it's possible at this moment but... but it has been requested quite a few times already. CloudStalker doesn't know the current state of progress on this, sorry.
