I would like to be able to modify the transcode wizard (which I find very helpful) just a bit. I assume there is a file somewhere with default values for lots of parameters used by the wizard. My hope would be to modify these to get what I want (the ability to pick which original soundtrack makes it to the transcoded file).
Frankly, I would be unable to reproduce the transcode wizard (or even a much reduced version) from scratch. For someone familiar with video and videolan, this may seem surprising, as it should be a simple task: pick an input, define an output and voilà! But with dozens of parameters, many of which have many possible values, someone as ignorant as I can be perplexed... I don't want to discourage anyone from answering this post, and I think Videolan is one of the very most impressive open software projects and I am thankful for it, but telling a neophyte that possible values for the contracugulator parameter are to fragitate, compile, over-modulate, under-sample (except when using the frazzle feature), and glocking, isn't as helpful as it may appear to someone who is knowledgeable...
All help appreciated!
