Audio delay fixer don't work (VLC 6.0 and 7.0)

i have a problem with audio desyncronization in one AVi movie, but it stars at the midle of the movie. and the utility in "prefs_audio" to fix this don apears to work (VLC 6.0 and 7.0).
what other thing can i do tho fix this bug??.

You have to restart VLC for this option to be taken into account.

Menu File->Quit
