Can't download - missing file error

Trying to download the player. I get the following error:

Similar errors for all mirrors. Running WinXP & Firefox, tried turning off firewall temporarily, same results. Help please?

I encounter the same error too when I try to download VLC media player. Moreover, this error occurs in Opera and Internet Explorer too. May someone help please?
