Play images in (slow) succession

Postby Tomme » 25 Jan 2008 21:17

Hi!

VLC is a wonderful tool and can sometimes do things which doesn't seem possible at first.

I'd like to "play" a number of images and stream the resulting playout. Each image should be displayed during a number of seconds so they are not individual frames. Think of an info channel showing a number of pages with info on in a sequence and then looping back when reaching the end of the list.

Is there any way to do thin in VLC?

Ideally, I would like to have a playlist in which an item could be an image with an length in seconds how long it should be displayed mixed with movie clips.

Regards,

Thomas

It's probably not priority seeing as there are programs that can already do this. It's more of an audio, video, streaming solution, so.... :-|
