Autocrop black borders

Hi guys,

I watch TV with VLC and some channels have black borders like this :


So is it possible to crop them ?

I tried the crop filter but it changes nothing.

Hi,

You can use "Crop" filter with autocrop option, it crop the movie at the resolution of the "real" image" (depend of ratio), then you can have the windowed mode or the fullscreen mode (but in fullscreen mode, if you have a 4/3 or 16/9 desktop and the movie is in 2:35 ratio you always have the black borders ...)
