PSM too short, packet corrupt

I tried to play a .part file (around 30$ of the complete size) with VLC, and got the message as below

PSM too short, packet corrupt
Unable to determine stream type

Can anybody tell me what that means? Your help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

It's because a .part file is broken by definition. VLC does it's best to play it with the .part plugin from emule developers, but it is still a broken and incomplete file. Too play a file correctly you should download it completly.
