subtitles won't go away!

I am using VLC on Mac OS X.

I loaded an avi file and a subtitles file. It worked fine. Ever since then, when I load a different film the original subtitles are still there. I have removed the path from the 'load subtitles' window.

Any ideas?

Try to reset your VLC preferences.
