auto-installer package

Postby gaituc » 27 Jul 2004 11:47

Hi, I've compiled VLC sources with cygwin, and now I'd like to create an auto-installer package. I've run "make package-win32" but there is some problem.
I post you console lines:

$ make package-win32
OK.
cp "./vlc.win32.nsi" "./vlc-0.7.3-svn/"
cp "./vlc.exe" "./vlc-0.7.3-svn/"
cp "./vlc.exe.manifest" "./vlc-0.7.3-svn/"
strip "./vlc-0.7.3-svn/vlc.exe"
for file in AUTHORS MAINTAINERS THANKS NEWS COPYING README ; \
do sed 's/@/_AT_/' < "./$file" > "./vlc-0.7.3-svn/${file}.txt" ; \
unix2dos "./vlc-0.7.3-svn/${file}.txt" ; done
/bin/bash: line 1: unix2dos: command not found
/bin/bash: line 1: unix2dos: command not found
/bin/bash: line 1: unix2dos: command not found
/bin/bash: line 1: unix2dos: command not found
/bin/bash: line 1: unix2dos: command not found
/bin/bash: line 1: unix2dos: command not found
make: *** [package-win32-base] Error 127

Also running "make package-win32-base" or "make package-win32-zip", it gives the same problem.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks, bye
Gaituc

You need to install the unix2dos command in your cygwin environment. (don't ask how, i don't know cygwin personally)
Don't use PMs for support questions.
