How to use VLC with a TV Card ?

Hello,

I'm french and i would like to know how i can use VLC with my TV Cards (WinTV and another one).

VLC finds my 2 cards but after, i can't see any images ...

Who can help me ?

But firstly with szap or something else you can tune your DVB card to a specific frequency and make sure if your driver works or not.
A basic usage of it is like below:

Code: Select all

./szap -c channels.conf-dvbs-astra ARTE
After you can try :

Code: Select all

vlc dvb:// :dvb-adapter=0 :dvb-frequency=XXXX :dvb-srate=27500000 --programs=YYYY
Replace XXXX with the frequency and YYYY with the number ID of your service
