./configure problem using qt

./configure problem using qt

I have a mistake with the ./configure

when i run it i get the following message

however i ve correctly set the --enable-qte & --with-qte=PATH Flag and qt3 is installed.

qte == QT embedded, not QT. i doubt you have that.

VLC does no longer support the QT environment. Please use your wxwidgets (previously wxwindows) based GUI.

QT embedded is still (to some degree) supported. if that is what you want please give more details on the problem.

I have the same problem, I specified the QTE path such as --with-qte=/root/qt-embedded-free-3.3.4

is there any problem? I compiled the QTE, and the error information during configuration is:

configure: error: echo "Cannot find QT embedded development headers."

Many people encounter this problem...

Can anyone give a guildline to this.
