I Offer to Help (Test?) VLC

Hello, I'm davescra. I just posted a ".m2ts won't play" question in I hope the right place. I am so very thankful for VLC that I am willing to do some testing (with .m2ts files or any other help (my current thing is working with HD home movies) or any other not too technical effort. If there is a forum moderator who has an assignment for me, please contact me. VLC is simply wonderful, this forum is superior, and I want to help. Dave

Easy:
* Learn to post VLC logs and how to post bugs.
* Test as many files you can and report the issues on the tracker with DETAILS about codecs and messages and spot the important parts (warning, errors, etc..)

Thanks. I read where the best thing to do is to offer help and I am glad you accepted. I will look up VLC logs, how to post bugs, and report issues with codec details/error messages/warnings, etc. In other words, I will "pay it forward" from here.

PS: When might v10 be released?

When we fix all the bugs.
