Hi.
My name is Erik and I have been hosting a mirror of VLC for a couple of years now.

Recently, I mailed you guys about the fact that we are closing down ftp:// and replacing everything with http:// (thttpd).

A week passed and we closed it down.
I noticed you hadn't changed from ftp:// to http:// in your links to us, so I mailed you guys again (Antoine Cellerier) but never got an answer.

A couple of days later I noticed the link had been removed.

So, is it because you dont need the mirror?

Everything is there as usual, being synced with the master server as always.

So, put in the links again and use http://

Check http://www.endpoint.nu/?s=ftp&/=pub/software/videolan/ -- there it is, just as normal.

Hum, can't we use a direct URL without any arguments ? (arguments break our mirrors script)

Sure you can.
http://ftp.endpoint.nu/pub/software/videolan/

Directory indexing is disabled (no mod_autoindex).
Thats why we use a script to create the index.

I just rsync from the master, so your directory structure is intact.

Just put http://ftp.endpoint.nu/pub/software/videolan/ in front of it, and it'll work :)
