My inclination would be to keep the website quite simple but focus on a couple of key metrics like download and encouraging support.

Web Designer offering my time
I Ma great fan of VLCSince I am a web designer/UXer working in-house at a telco I am allowed to donate my time to open source projects such as this one. So Let me know if you guys are in need of a web designer. I am willing to follow your lead and direction on the project and provide input where needed.
