Loooking for a bug to fix

Hello, VideoLAN community! I'm on a university assignment to make any sort of contribution to an open-source project of my choice, which is everyone's favorite media player. I see there's a multitude of bugs/feature requests on the tracker, but want to ask for your suggestions on what would be most useful and not too demanding on previous experience with the codebase. Something fairly mechanical/algorithmic and straightforward, possibly dirty work that nobody wants to do.

I've compiled the nightly build and generally understand the code structure. Will code on Linux, have access to Win, but no mobile devices.

What is your coding skill level?
You should come on IRC.

Hi I'm new to this forum and I too have joined this forum for the same reason as lunaroverlord.

Like lunaroverlord said it involves some simple interaction on a open source software. Anyway all I need for starters is someone to reply to this message.

Well thanks for replying.
Although to be honest I have no coding skills at all.

An IRC would be really helpful actually but unfortunately it's too late and my assignments due in.

Thanks for the offers tho. :D
