Default view on mobile

Postby Hermosa.tabby » 23 May 2015 07:12

It would be extremely handy to develop options for different default views for mobile. It always reverts to the album view, which I believe for my hundreds of songs, i think like 10 of them have an album name in their id tag. Some were recoved off a dying drive and work fine, but the tags got wiped, so they are just a file name at this point. Would be great to develop some new settings to handle the default views for audio and video in the settings :)
Im a bit hesitant to start working with the main program without another dev familiar with the code who can at least be there for consultation, but this is the type of feature that would require a new setting option in the main menu. If I can get the blessing of the lead devs to work with the main mobile source, and another person would like to assist(or at least be on standby to consult) i would not mind working on this :)
The big issue with this and mobile, is any time i enter it, or hit back, the program flips to that same album view. Sometimes several times per session. I think this would enhance the user experience quite a bit for a lot of VLC users.
