VLC RAR Media Library

Hi, greetings from Spain. New around here and probably someone else started a thread about this, but I'm refreshing the topic and maybe adding some inspirations to others, although mainly I need to achieve a personal project using VLC.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHT
As VLC can play the files inside a RAR file (better when less compressed) I put some media into rar files and then rename the extension. eg."ACDC - Back In Black.rarm" with all the song of that music album. When open with vlc I can play all the song. Also with movies (with cover art) or tv series with every chapter.

I know there is no problem to do this and maybe are some bugs in certain areas like the tag of the music when load as a disk and that kind of stuff, but I spend a lot of time working on my library and making VLC my media center will be great. The reason of doing this is that everybody can make their own extension to share only with his friends, and also, when you assign that extension you know that the files is been processed to avoid all the junk and the ads when you download from the internet.

Well, I'll try and learn about this. Tips would be nice and let me hear you if you are interested to motivate me to post advances in the proyect.
