What does one need to do to be a beta tester for VLC on Android?
Does anyone know if the Android port of VLC will support UDP Multicast transport stream?

Have built a recent June 28 git version under Debian/eclipse and loaded on Droid2 .
Have only started looking at what it can do, but could benefit from experts hints;
- Existing video clips residing on SD card captured with droid camera (3gp format) playback has hickups (they play fine using other players). Is it what has been seen? Worth debugging?

I like what VLC does and I would love to help where I can to tribute to making it better.

What is IRC and how does one talk to the Android team?

I am not a software expert, but have done some C++ coding in the past.

Why cant the existing source code, with some tweaks, just be compiled for Android 2.2 and made available. I would be happy to Beta test.
