Adding to documentation in the VideoLAN wiki

Postby rogelda » 14 Apr 2012 11:06

Hello,

I would like to contribute to this project because I believe in this product and it has not failed me yet. I'm trying to see where there is a big need within the wiki as far as tutorials go. Does anyone have any ideas as to what kind of tutorials are still needed? I'm just trying to figure out where to start helping so if anyone can give me some pointers, that would be great!

Thanks!

Yes, the documentation needs a lot of screenshots and documentation, notably for the main part.

I just dled the newest VLC and was trying to read the readme.txt. So, being me, I was having trouble following it as it was formatted in notepad on windose vista.

I then edited it using hard returns and a few spaces, I also replaced "whore" with "where" as I figured it was a typo. I'm going to try to put it up as a quote as I cannot figure out how to attach a text file.

Please look it over if you can use it as I may have screwed up context that I didn't understand.

Nevermind ERROR it said "Your message contains too many URLs. The maximum number of URLs allowed is 4."
