Another Spelling Error under "Privacy and Network Policies"

Postby colinmaharaj » 14 Feb 2010 02:20

In the dialog "Privacy and Network Policies" there is a text ...
"VLC Media Player can retreive limited information....."

This should be 'retrieve'....

This Dialog came up after a fresh installation of VLC 1.0.5

Another thing I noticed is that you said that you used the version of the gcc compiler..
You Say...
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Windows port:
* Use of gcc 4.4.2 to compile instead of gcc 4.2. This might slightly
increase performance and fix x264 issues
-------------------------------------------------------------------

However in the GCC web site they say.....

-------------------------------------------------------------------
http://gcc.gnu.org/gcc-4.4/

October 15, 2009
The GNU project and the GCC developers are pleased to announce the release of GCC 4.4.3.
This release is a bug-fix release, containing fixes for regressions in GCC 4.4.2 relative to previous releases of GCC.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Not sure if this has an impact on you, please check it out.

Later
Colin.
