error in vlc player with pinnacle tv tuner card

hello
i run vlc with pinnacle tv tuner card and record video with audio but after a long time vlc player will give me error message and when i restart vlc or even system then after the problem persist , no video play and vlc give error message that vlc encounter a problem and need to be close and if even i remove vlc from system then again install vlc then after vlc give problem and if i remove with option delete preferences and catches then afrer install vlc then only vlc run with pinnacle tv tuner card .
plz help me regarding this query.
