Somewhere in the text file there is this entry:

Set the method used by libdvdcss for key decryption.\n
[...]
disc: the disc key is first cracked, then all title keys can be decrypted instantly, which allows us to check them often.\n
[...]

What means "cracked" ? Something like brute force cracking or something ? Or should be "decrypted" instead ?

Hm ... then someone is wrong, because:

- in English is "disc: the disc key is first cracked, then [...]"
- in French is "disc: la clé du disque est d’abord décryptée, puis [...]"
- in Italian is "disc: si decifra la chiave del disco, cosa [...]

My question is how to translate in Romanian ...
(what amazes me is – if the developers don't know, then who knows ? :?)

I think calculated player keys are first used (key method), and if that fails then it falls back to the disc method which applies a brute force algorithm to "crack" the disc key:

The program's interface text file (.po gettext). Either 0.8.x or 0.9.x versions.
