On Transifex there are old resources like vlc-2.0 and vlc-2.1.

They give a wrong impression on how many % the local is translated when you look at https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/vlc-trans

So for my locale (danish) it might say 70% but really it should be about 90% if vlc-2.0 and vlc-2.1 is not included.

Also its annoying when you search in "all resources" on Transifex that string from vlc-2.0 and vlc-2.1 keeps showing up when i am not interested in those.

Agreed. It would be nice if they can be removed or hidden somehow.

If you find a way to do so, please tell me.

Last times (plural is intended) I checked, I found no way to hide the old ones/excluded them from the percentage calculation.

The only way would be deleting the resource, but I am not convinced this would be a good idea, either.

What do people use them for ?

The other Transifex projects i work on dont keep old copies.

Could anyone tell me what vlc-2.0 and vlc-2.1 is being used for if anything?

If i go to https://www.transifex.com/yaron/vlc-trans/language/da/ and select vlc-2.1 and then View strings online i can't see the strings. There are none.
But i can download the file (with strings inside). But for some reason not see them online.

I would still, again, one more time suggest that the old resources called "vlc-2.0" and "vlc-2.1" to be removed from Transifex if they are not used for anything.

They are so big that when i use "All resources" on Transifex the browser is really slow to respond each time i search for a string and its annoying that i keep getting search results from the old "vlc-2.0" and "vlc-2.1" when i can't change them anyway.

So for translators like me it would make it easier to translate and faster.

Yaah! it seems like the old stuff (vlc-2.0, vlc-2.1) have finally been removed from Transifex so its shows more correctly how fully each language is translated.
