Editing translations

Hi

I am trying to watch something with Danish translations on my mac but they are so bad. Is there any way I can edit them?

You mean like the SRT?

The vlc translation now is being held in transifex
You can register an account and modify the translation for your language.
Or, you can download the pot file and use the poedit to change the pharase as you like. Save it and got the mo file, paste it in the local folder of your language.
Restart the vlc and you got the interface of your own edit.
