Language switch only working partially?

Hey there

I'm using VLC 0.9.8a and am experiencing the following issue: due to my regional settings, VLC has installed itself in turkish. I used the VLC preferences to set the language to US English; but the change is only partial. Here are two screenshots where I circled in red all parts that've stayed in turkish:





Is this an expected behavoir?

try deleting the plugin cache (%appdata%/vlc/cache/*.*)
