According to http://www.videolan.org/developers/i18n/, the language maintainer for Tagalog is Simeon (simos) Xenitellis, but he's also the language maintainer for Greek, Bengali, Nepali, Pashto, Hindi, Burmese and Tetum. I don't know him personally, so if anyone here knows how he fits into things (perhaps Rosetta?), please let us know.I would like to help translate VLC to Tagalog/Filipino and would like to get in touch with the language maintainer.
Thanks, Xtophe, it's always interesting to hear some of the undocumented history of a project.Simon ran a l10n workshop a long time ago and used VLC for the practical exercise.
But we haven't heard anything from the people who did the workshop with him.
