Translation at 60% and already submitted...

Will this be included in the next release? Where can we see the status of all translations?

How can we configure vlc to be in other language than english?

I see that the translator maintainer isn't updated yet (as Ari Constancio is no longer the portuguese translator but myself Bruno Queiros) will this information be updated?

Also, the file i sent had 60% translated not the 57% seen in http://www.videolan.org/developers/i18n/vlcstat.php will this also be updated?

Hello,

It is unusual (read "outright rude") to take over maintainership unilaterally, without explicit permission.

Regards,
Ari Constancio

You didn't ask to xtophe before starting your translation?

Sure i did, but because i didn't get any answer, after a few weeks i've started the translation from scratch. So now i've submitted the translation that is at 60% more or less. Also i've registered my translation into pootle, and i have 1 more guy working on this together with myself. I hope more people would join.

The only reason i began translating it's because i got no answer from the translator at the time.
