how to select camera to view

We are working with DVR video files that contain or can contain multiple camera views.. i can open the file from VLC client and it automatically opens each camera view in its own window.. but im trying to setup the web player to allow the user to pick the camera view they want to view before the file plays, how can i pass the camera view to the player so it knows what video stream to play?
