You will need to install theora Plugin installer, from http://www.opendrive.com/files/7097278_ ... Plugin.exe 2mb

if you want the full audio video codec support in the plugin, you will need to install the full VLC 1.0.5 with the activeX option enabled

Can you believe it, this is really a Theora Plugin its not flash,

Image

the plugin should be working even on linux you just need to install

apt-get install mozilla-plugin-vlc make sure its 1.0.5 of vlc
remember to remove the mplayer plugin in mozilla it creates issues with the vlc plugin
so what you guys think pretty cool right

html5 video vs Theora Plugin
http://screenr.com/SrD

Theora Plug-in Wins 110%

while testing, i took some Theora HD clip and just tested on Firefox 3.6.10 disappointed that the video is choppy and playback is so terrible, while comparing videolans activeX, the clip was working perfectly, there is no doubt in my mind html5 and HD just do not mix, the only way a user can play such HD on html5 is by having a i7 and 12gb of memory

those that have no issues playing HD using html5 might want to buy a average computer hardware as shown on the video
