javascript events not working

Hi All.

I am trying to use the custom js events as described in the docs:

However even though they are setup properly (the docs should mention that if the player is not playing anything and is in idle state with no MRL in its playlist, the event attaches don't work), none of the events seem to get fired. I have a fairly simple reduction case that I can upload to a server is required.

This seems to be a problem on FF 3 on windows and linux.

Any help would be great.
