Hi.

I'm trying to use VideoLan ActiveX in Internet Explorer 8, but getting the message:
"A malfunctioning or malicious add-on has caused Internet Explorer to close this webpage"

This happens with VideoLan 1.0.3, via IE8 on XP SP3, 32-bit.

Anyone familiar with this, and how to sort it out?

It appears my IE8 was completely broken, and didn't want to work event with MS own ActiveX, a reinstall helped to solve it.
