how to use hotkey in IE when using the VLC activex

hi guys,
I have use the VLC activeX in IE to play an rtsp stream. It works well. VLC player support the hotkeys, right? Like I press 'F', it will be fullscreen mode. So, can activex support hotkey? I try a test, I find that the activex can support this function. But it only works the focus is on the VLC control(the object in the IE). But I can't locate the focus on the vlc control.....except double click the control to make it be the fullscreen, then I press any hotkey, it works.
So, anyone know how to make the hotkey function works in the normal mode?Give me any suggestion is also Ok. Thanks a lot!!!
