Active X shortcuts and new controls

Hi to all !
I'm tring to use VLC 1.0 RC3 on a web application... unfortunatley I discovered that with this version I can not use keyobard's shortcuts when I am in the full screen mode;
i mean pause, change subtitles, thake a snapshot and so on....
There is any way to anable shortcuts on this version ?
And, if not: anyone knowk how to send to the ActiveX object commands like:
1) Rec
2) Thake a snaphot
and so on ?
