ActiveX plugin question - when does VLC teardown

Postby bernie.zhao » 10 Jan 2009 20:57

Hi guys,

I'm using ActiveX version 2 API that comes with VLC 0.9.8.
My video server is an RTSP Mpeg2 TS server.
I'm using the plugin to send RTSP messages to request stream.

Here is a quick question.
I found that right after PLAY message (and I saw success response like below), the plugin sent a TEARDOWN to stop the stream.
So my question is, under what context would the plugin automatically send TEARDOWN?
Such as no UDP packet in 10 seconds? not happy with PLAY response? or any other situation?
Thanks a lot guys!
