Need Help Compiling ActiveX

I have been having a lot of trouble getting ActiveX to compile with VLC. I can get VLC to compile fine but it does not have the axvlc.dll with it. I have seen some source code where that dll file is already there. So what I am trying to do now is compile the ActiveX before I compile the VLC software. I have searched through the forums and found some thing on compiling ActiveX but nothing that gives me enough information about it. I have also read the readme file that comes with the software but I am a little confused by it.

So if someone could explain to me a little bit about how to do this or point me to a document that explains some more that would be awesome. I am not lazy and I dont mind researching it myself I just need someone to point me in the right direction. Thank you
