Multiple ActiveX instances crashing- Can Javascript help me?

Postby shaamone » 19 Jan 2007 11:44

I'm having the well known problem of IE crashing when I open multiple instances of VLC via activex in my pages.

I have read that it is possible to avoid this by using javascript to define new instances of VLC rather than repeating the initial <OBJECT> parameter.. Unfortunately I'm getting nowhere trying to find out how to do this and don't program in Javascript so I'm kind of stuck..

I have searched the forum (over and over..) to no avail. Can anyone help me?

Hi shaamone

Have you get anywhere with this problem?
I have the same IE crash, when I want to start two different streams in Windows Internet Explorer. I haven`t tested yet the effect with Mozilla or Safari Browsers, but i`m shure it appears only with ActiveX for IE. can you confirm me this topic?
