"Now Playing" information on website?

Hi,
im searching the web now for days but haven't found any answer of my question to put some "now playing" title-information on my privat streaming website.
I've found the examples to put the activeX plugin as object on the site and its working fine - but i want to show what file (mp3, video) is playing right now...
Maybe one of you has a little example how to define/get the variable and put it in a table-cell??
