Don't waste your time with VLC in VB6
VLC crashes a lot with VB5 and unstable.
You don't get any sample for VB6

Why don't you use .Net interface ?

Thanks for the responce...

It took 5 years for me to master VB6 to do a professional software.
I have >1000 ready modules today to make any new projects in hours.
If I start my day to learn .NET, I will become old to master in that. And
tomorrow some one will ask me to learn C++ or C#.

VCL has a unique Harware Video Renderer, which consumes less CPU
I could'nt avoid it. I tried basic playback in VB6. It works. But I want to use most of its features like Graphic EQ, Video Adjustments etc.

So some one can help me to do VB6 interface for VLC ActiveX or a Wrapper Dll.

And I suggest you to fix the Video Duration error in Mpeg2 files.
Which WAS common issue with Mpeg2. But most of the decoder have fixed it now.

Thanks again

Well you can use the .Net sample to inspire you to do that. First check that the ActiveX plugin module can modify the birghtness.

Fine... You are right... We always need some starter...
btw
where can I get the .NET sample code ?
And I still strongly suggest you to make a step to write some user friendly
properties for VLC ActiveX like other controls. So that most the community
be happy to use it.
