Hello
I installed the plug in firefox as it is explained in the user book , but when i try it it doesn't work.

The web page is long to appear and after a few seconds of reading with vlc the computer writes

"firefox.exe has a problem ..." and closes it.

I like firefox and VLC is very useful and i would like to use vlc with firefox.

Have you ever had this problem ? How to solve this probblem ?

thank you for your help .

Hi,

Yep, occationally it will shut off, but once in 1000, when I surf very hard and swich between tabs in firefox very fast...(this is not a VLC issue).

Make sure that you only have one firefox in your task manager....

I got 1gb of ram in my machine (client)....my server (fedora 4) who is pushing the stream got 128mb (swapping all the time) just got enough to keep the nose above the waterline....never crashed!!!

Try 'n restart your computer again...I don't think it is VLC that is shutting down your web-browser (if firefox?)

I run firefox 2.0 and VLC 0.8.5
