Hello,
I live in a residence. I have a web server (with Ubuntu) connected to a local network with approximately 100 computer. On the website, I use vlc to refiffuse TV from freebox. I made a PHP script that work as a remote contol (Actually, there are 2 TV, I mean 2 vlc runing on different ports so 2 remotes accessibles by only 2 persons. The others can just regard TV as spectator).

But I have a probleme. Each person who want to watch TV has to download a .m3u file ti connnect to the TV and to open it with vlc. It isn't really handy . And besides a lot of resident are noobs. I could use the mozilla-vlc-plugin but of course they don't all use mozilla.

Can someone help me please?

Please forgive my English Expression. I'm French (Actually it's also a difficulty because some persons are also English speaking in the residence. So it isn't easy to explain them how to use the TV).

I've solve it by using the activeX plugin for Internet explorer
