I am having an issue with the streaming of TV. After a fresh restart i try to open a capture device to view the picture and nothing but a black screen comes up. The audio is not present either. Oddly enough the software that came with my TV card works properly. And, after i start THAT software and close it... VLC Player will THEN work properly... But only AFTER i start the software that comes with it. I uninstalled that software thinking there might be some kind of conflict but, that didn't work either.

I am running XPHome with a Hauppauge 150 TV card.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

..I dont know how this ended up in web and scripting. But, if someone can move this to the windows forum i might get a quicker response..
