stop cone from being displayed when loading video

Postby se04005 » 04 Apr 2006 15:04

hey there

i'm currently working on an interactive webapplication and would like to use VLC for playing videos in the browser (due to the mpeg support without any additional codec). but there is one problem, which the client doesn't like: the cone being displayed while loading the video.
i don't want to solve this problem by using some ugly hack (e.g. using javascript for making the player invisible and visible after 1 second). is there any possibility to do this by changing some settings (e.g. customize options) or maybe delete the cone picture or whatever filetype that's being displayed.

maybe somebody can help me ;)

thanks in advance,
andi
