Hello,
new http interface is pretty nice and well-arranged.

I load some VLM commands by batch and broadcast elements appear.
I am able to send commands like "control cam1 play" through VLM command input and camera1 starts playing :D

Unfortunately control buttons for broadcast elements doesn´t work, doesn´t send any commands. I have to stop/pause/... elements by VLM command input.
I have Internet Explorer 6, Win XP Prof SP2 and ActiveX, Javascript,... permitted, vlc-0.8.5-test1-20060321-0001.

Thank you for any hint.

they definitively work with Mozilla Firefox. I'll have to try with IE (making a webpage compatible with both browsers is always complicated ...)

Thanks for the report.

http controling - preset parametres

Hello,
yes, work with Firefox and Mozilla suite also, but I have to use Microsoft product :(

It would be nice, if http intf was able to parse and remember commands from VLM batch:
I paste VLM commands by VLM batch interface, it works, elemenet is created. Than I want to change something -> EDIT whatever, and I see very nice interface (e.g. streaming dialog). But there are not set my output parametres entered by VLM batch. I have to set multicast address, codecs,.... de novo.
But if I want to edit the same thing again, parametres are pre-set from last changing and I can make only a final changes.

Could be http VLM engine set by inicial values from batch VLM?
Thank you
Albert

I'll fix the IE compatibility thing. Concerning remembering the VLM batch values, i'm afrait that it won't be easy to do (as it would require to parse the VLM commands in javascript, which i absolutely don't want to code :) ).

It should be fixed in the developement version. This will be included in the nightly that finishes in 30 minutes (the second for march 22th)
