Need a script or extension that autoskips Playon ad chapters

Hello,
I hope I'm posting in the correct Topic area.
I am seeking directions to write or if someone with expertise can write a script or VLC extension that can autoskip Playon ad chapters. Playon ad chapters are listed as "Advertisement" in the Chapters list in VLC. I was hoping there is a way to programmatically skip these chapters using their name.

Is this possible?
Is it easy to write such a script?
Can someone point my in a direction to get started with the coding?
