Save Audio possition for Resume on Cloud storage

Deal all,

I wonder if someone already had a look into this or has Ideas on how to approach this need:
Jellyfin does not support Audiobooks very well. Listening on my Android device with vlc is very smooth due to the Resume button. Essentially I want to continue Playing my Audio as well as on Andoid device and on PC, Therefore I thought vlc has to store that Information somewhere and if I could sync this file (via Nextcloud Andoid app maybe) to my Media Server I would be Able to read that Play possition and Continue where I was on on my Andoid device (I dont know anything actually about VLC Web plugin but might this work here maybe?)

Maybe my Idea is stupid, pls tell me and I will stop searching. It is a little hustle to always track my possition but not lifechanging:D
