I need help VLC/Javascript Project

I want to run vlc player playlist. I want the player to log in the following at the end of every track;
1. Name of the track & artist played
2. Duration of the track
3. Time stamp of the track played
4. Wheather the track successfuly played from begining to the end

Please I have no idea for signals/triggers to look for. I have no ifea ho w to implement the project like if I need node server or not.
Please help me out. Will be very glad to hear from you all.
