VLC and Unity

Hi there

Is there a way to use VLC sdk with Unity standalone x64? Does anybody ever tried it?
I'm developing project that is supposed to play multi format videos. However Unity has barely any support for playing videos (quick time, not even).

if Unity has ability load native plugins (I just don't know if it can) - it's possible.

read some Unity docs - it seems it's pretty possible. And I can say more, if such thing will have pretty big users auditory, I even can do it...
